Leaving the Big Island

It’s been almost a week since I landed in Hawaii and flew straight to the big island. On arriving at the resort we were feeling a bit exhausted so spent a few quiet days resting and chilling out at the resort in Kailua-Kona. At the local farmers markets I tried Kava for the first time. Not particularly memorable aside from the numb tongue and yucky taste. I was able to get some fresh coconuts so big thumbs up there :-)

I explored Kona via the trolley (local public transport), which came through the resort every couple of hours. It’s a quiet, touristy town by the sea, cute but not a great deal to do. A couple of days later a mutual friend from Brisbane, Marion, joined us for the David Wilcock conference. The conference was an awesome experience, lots of interesting people and new information to integrate. Anyone who is interested can check out his work here, www.divinecosmos.com

Today Vanessa, Marion, myself and Phyllis (from the conference) hired a car to explore the island. We saw the Captain Cook monument, Kilauea volcano and enjoyed a scenic drive around Hilo. Vanessa and I weren’t sure if we were staying the night in Hilo but made a spare of the moment decision to fly to Honolulu tonight. Marion and Phyllis kindly dropped us at the Hilo airport and we said our goodbyes.

  1. The conference sounds great and the sights of the Island fascinating. We tried Kava in Vanuatu (timidly, I'm afraid) remember thinking it would be useful for dental extraction! Enjoying hearing from you heaps. Love M&Dx
